#LightItInRed is a UK based direct action lighting protest that is scheduled to take place on the night of Monday 6th July 2020 … to draw attention to the critical condition of the UK live event and entertainment industry and its need for special government support to see it through to re-starting.

#LightItInRed es una iniciativa de iluminación en Reino Unido, programada para la noche del 6 de julio, que pretende servir como protesta al gobierno por la situación a la que se enfrenta la industria del entretenimiento en el país.

Five high profile buildings around the UK were proudly lit with Anolis fixtures in the recent #LightItInRed lighting action organised to draw attention to the special requirements of live performance, entertainment and events as the economy re-starts after the coronavirus lockdown.

Durante la pasada campaña de #LighItInRed, cinco importantes edificios por todo Reino Unido se tiñeron de rojo Anolis para mostrar su apoyo a la industria del entretenimiento y de los eventos.

La campaña #LightItInRed, que alcanzó el top 3 de tendencias en Twitter el pasado 6 de julio, logró teñir de rojo a más de 670 edificios, monumentos y estructuras por todo Reino Unido, como símbolo de apoyo a la crisis que afronta el sector artístico y del espectáculo.

Trending in Twitter’s top 3 on the night, the #LightItInRed campaign saw over 670 buildings, monuments, landmarks and structures all over the UK illuminated in “Emergency Red” on Monday 6th July to highlight the vast challenges facing the live events, music and performing arts sectors.
