KINETIC LIGHTS  presented  the unique powered cable Winch LED/PIXEL system with the new Mirror Discs light elements at the prolight+sound trade fair in Frankfurt.  KINETIC LIGHTS is the inventor and leading specialist in kinetic lighting. They’ve been engineering and building professional lighting equipment for more than ten years.

They produce a range of DMX WINCHES in both steel wire and powered cable varieties. Their winches are critical components in the lighting setup at all kinds of events: art galleries, interior displays, stage shows, and much more. Their high-precision hoists are used mainly for synchronized spatial animation of large arrays of tethered LED light fixtures.

Their winch system sets the industry standard. It runs Art-Net DMX and can handle up to a 3 kg load. It detects excess weight and slack lines automatically, and it has automated dead switches at both ends of the lift cable. Most importantly, their winch is the only system in its class to comply with all international safety regulations, including DGUV V17 / BGV C1, UL, CE.
