Powersoft and local distributor SuperSonidos organized a special VIP seminar with the assistance of amplifier users from Powersoft’s X Series, besides well-known sound engineers and technicians in Guatemala, plus the participation of the support and sales staff of SuperSonidos in El Salvador.
The seminar/demo took place at Prosound’s warehouse, a local rental company that, thanks to its wonderful hospitality, offered the right space to deploy the systems, besides helping SuperSonido’s team to set up the PA the best way.
Presentation was in charge of Luca Gianni, Powersoft’s Product Specialist Manager Rack Division, and Gilberto Morejón, Powersoft’s CALA Sales Manager.
Although a general overview of the company and various series of amplifiers available was done, the seminar was more focused on the Armonía Pro Audio Suite software, main features of the amplifiers, type of use and at the end an interactive demo was done with a new line array recently acquired by the rental company. All of this was used to show the ability of inbuilt DSP in Powersoft amplifiers to work with any loudspeaker brand, besides the ones already included in Armonía’s library.
One of the highlighted moments was the realization of live tests using different power voltages providing results never seen before in the region thanks to the performance of the switching power supply containing in the X Series.
Gilberto said: “It was a successful seminar where we could reinforce the brand in the region even more and we achieved the wow factor among attendees thanks to these live demoes and the right technical support from SuperSonidos”.
“The training was pretty good and attendees showed a good average knowledge”, Luca added. “We had time to tune, to make examples, and to drive the system to its max without facing any issue on the amplification side. The overall response was great! Attendees were very impressed and some of them even bought X4 amplifiers right after the seminar”.
