The pro audio sector continues to support PLASA ahead of the annual 2015 show, at The ExCeL exhibition center in London’s Docklands on the 4th – 6th October, where the show has gathered support from many well-known audio manufacturers and distributors.
“We are seeing a definite shift from audio manufacturers and distributors towards PLASA as a viable event to launch a variety of new products, with the PLASA Awards for Innovation being a great place to showcase new technology,” says Christopher Toulmin, Director of PLASA Events.“This year we have over 50 leading brands joining us from the pro audio sector with many new names joining that list.”
Pro audio products and features at this years show include;
A.C. Entertainment, AC-ET’s Audio division, will provide hands-on demonstrations of the latest cutting-edge digital mixing consoles from a wide portfolio of leading brands, with exclusive demonstrations of selected models from the Touring, Fusion, and Live ranges of Dynamic Audio Device (DAD).

d&b Audiotechnik will debut its V-Series point source loudspeakers at this year’s PLASA. Launched earlier this month the V7P, V10P and V-GSUB will be on the d&b stand alongside other touring and installation products. Adam Hockley and Steve Jones of d&b GB Education and Application Support also contribute to the line up of Pro Audio seminars taking place at the show.

FBT UK will be showing a full range of products from both FBT and its newly acquired JTS microphone range. PA products from FBT include a complete line up from the portable sound and install and touring catalogues, as well as unveiling the brand new JTS UF-20R dual channel wide band UHF professional wireless system.

Flare Audio launches Zero, which they bill as “The Ultimate in Audio Clarity.” Lauded by –among others - legendary music producer and founding member of Art of Noise, Gary Langan, the systems is aimed at discerning studios, musicians and audiophiles, allowing both upmarket consumers and professionals hear the recording the artist intended you to hear. Standing at 1.8m in height, it delivers 3.5kw of sound.

SSE Audio and Wigwam Acoustics will be among those distributors again exhibiting at PLASA 2015. They will be showcasing products from a number of their suppliers.

Taking place on all three days of the show, the programme covers a wide range of topics, from the future of wireless audio to the preservation of your hearing – an essential guide for sound professionals and taking in a wide variety of mixing, production and sound control topics along the way.
