“We have brought together a variety of presentations for the second edition of PLASA Focus Glasgow.” says Content Manager, Sophie Atkinson. “We are delighted to be able to host collaborative seminars from the pro-audio sector as well as informative lighting, AV and industry sessions in addition to the Riggers’ Forum.’

Other highlights of the programme include recent PLASA Award winner ETC as they explore ‘Have we moved on from DMX?’, their presentation on how DMX has been used over the last ten years. Gavin Ball and Adrian Tinson from the HSE will also present ‘CDM 2015’, a presentation about the recent implementation of the new regulations and how this can be integrated into the overall management process of a production. The Warehouse Services and d&b audiotechnik will also collaborate on their presentation ‘Line Arrays Unravelled’ as they explore the pros and cons of using line array directivity.

Another expert speaker to join the line-up is Grant Anderson, the Scottish Lighting Designer, who worked lighting, AV and sound specialists Black Light on the ‘Botanics Lights 2015’ project. Their presentation will describe how they collaborated on their design for the popular event, a breathtaking and state-of-the-art light installation.
