Wire & Cable Guangzhou opened its doors from 6 – 8 June 2016 at the China Import and Export Fair Complex in Guangzhou. Organized by China Southern Power Grid Media Co Ltd, Guangzhou BoYou Exhibition Service Co Ltd and Guangzhou Guangya Messe Frankfurt Co Ltd, the fair serves as an important meeting place for industry specialists in South China.
The 2016 edition welcomed 350 exhibitors and over 25,000 professional buyers, and occupied 30,000 sqm of exhibition space. To facilitate sourcing, the exhibition was divided into two halls —one for equipment and the other for wires, cables and materials. Located in Hall 9.1, the Equipment Hall featured the latest manufacturing and finishing machinery as well as testing instruments for wires and cables. The Wire, Cable and Materials Hall, located in Hall 10.1, provided a comprehensive display of high, medium and low-voltage cables, weak current wires and cables, optical fibre cables, related materials and accessories.
The show received extensive support from trade associations across China, including Guangdong Province Power Engineering Association, Guangdong Wire & Cable Association, Taiwan Wire and Cable Association Synergy Development Center, Zhongshan Electric Power trade Association, Zhuhai Power Trade Association.
Making its first appearance at the show, Han’s Laser demonstrated some of its latest technologies in laser engraving, welding and cutting. The company is a leading global player in laser equipment manufacturing, and offers more than 200 machine models that are widely used in the electronics, telecommunications, automotive and packaging industries.
Jiangsu Tongguang is a leading wire and cable manufacturer for the energy, telecom and aviation industries. The company’s main products include electric power optical, power transmission, radio-frequency coaxial and high-temperature cables that are used in China’s military aerospace and civilian communications industries.
First-time exhibitor Jinglan Cable is a power and electrical cables supplier for power and control applications. With subsidiaries in Germany, the US and the UK, the company’s chain of distributors and customers covers more than 40 countries. Its products range from low, medium, and high-voltage power cables as well as overhead, control, airfield lighting, EMC and industrial cables.
Offering more than 1,000 varieties of optical fibre communication and power transmission cables, Shandong Pacific’s clients include major telecom giants as well as power grid, oil and railway companies in China. The company’s products are also exported to countries such as Kazakhstan, Pakistan and Singapore.
Participating for the first time is Nanjing Technical Electrical Equipment, a state-owned plastics machinery manufacturer. The company’s product portfolio ranges from single screw plastic extruders, rubber extruders, accumulators and 35kV 3-layer co-extrusion CCV lines. These goods are sold to Germany, Japan, Korea and Russia as well as countries in the Middle East and South America.
