ISE 2023 sees the debut of Pixel Reality (PR), with a pixel pitch of 2.5mm, Absen's new flagship virtual production (VP) LED solution.
With VP becoming ever popular across filmmaking, broadcast, video production and gaming, the PR Series is designed as an all-in-one platform for both a VP backdrop and ceiling.
Offering a high contrast ratio, the product offers a wide colour gamut, fast heat dissipation and provides a 16% reduction in power consumption compared with comparative solutions. With the customized lock system, users can quickly complete installations including hanging, stacking and other layouts.
The PR 2.5 is also built of carbon composite and has an achievable weight as low as 22kg per m², an important differentiator in this emerging market. Visitors to the Absen booth will be able to preview the 2.5, which is first product in the series, while 3.9 and 5.2 pixel pitch versions are currently being planned.
Absen’s recently partnered with PSCo, Garden Studios and cinematography hire house Procam Take 2, to host the inaugural edition of its Virtual Production Forum.
