Each tasker cable can be produced with different sheaths depending on the specific application. In the music market the soft PVC cable with a low number of shores is really appreciated, whereas our service customers, prefer the flexibility and the excellent mechanical resistance of our Polyurethane (PUR) material.
It is considered a highly versatile material thanks to his high resistance to cutting, abrasion and trampling, UV rays, water, chemical and atmospheric agents and also for being flame retardant and halogen free. It is also perfect for continuous windings and unwinding maintaining an excellent operating temperature of -40 / + 80 ° C.
All these features make this material perfectly suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications same like the Polyethylene (PE) that allows our costumes to have high resistance to water and chemicals keeping installation costs low.
In public installations, we advise to use the Low Smoke Zero Halogen (L.S.Z.H.) sheath even when CPR homologation is mandatory, but for medical applications we recommend Silicone because it guarantees the majority of the Polyurethane resistances, keeping an operating temperature of -60 to + 180° C.
For underground installations, even if not protected, we realize metallic braided armor that covers the entire cable sheath offering excellent protection even in the presence of rodents.
