By 1996, the success Serapid experienced in the industrial sector caught the attention of theatrical consultants who were looking for products for stage and orchestra lifts. In the decades since, it has established itself as a world leader in stage engineering.

What is Serapid’s entrepreneurial background?
The president of Serapid, Said Lounis, is an American entrepreneur who began his career as a mechanical engineer, having received an engineering degree from the UK, and is a licensed professional engineer from the Engineering Society of Detroit. He acquired Serapid France and built a thriving business, opening offices in the UK, United States, Germany, Italy, China and Mexico/LATAM.
Where can your product be found? In which countries? In which markets?
Serapid products are in use on five continents, with many high-profile installations in Europe, Asia and the United States. The market sectors are industrial, medical, nuclear, military and theatrical.
What advantages does your brand provide in comparison to your competitors?
Serapid is the only provider of the original rigid chain, a unique product for linear motion. It is telescopic, electro-mechanically powered, robust and reliable, and allows for precise, repeatable positioning.
