The second edition of InfoComm Latin America opened its doors at the World Trade Center in Mexico City with a programme focused on technological innovation, immersive experiences, professional training and new business opportunities for the audiovisual industry.
The opening ceremony brought together industry representatives, directors and AVIXA executives, marking the start of a programme featuring product exhibitions, conferences, technology demonstrations and training activities.
PULSE: an immersive experience combining spatial audio, lighting and video mapping
One of the event's highlights was PULSE, an immersive experience installed in the Palenque Room that combined hyperrealistic spatial audio, lighting, lasers and three-dimensional video mapping.
For seven minutes, these technologies were synchronised to create an audiovisual experience in which sound, light and images formed part of a single narrative.

Beyond the demonstrations, PULSE provided a starting point for discussions about the future of immersive experience design and the creative and technical processes required to develop these types of productions.
The AVIXA Congress examines the challenges facing the Latin American market
The AVIXA Congress was another of the event's main forums for professional exchange, with sessions dedicated to industry developments, business opportunities and growth strategies in Latin America.
Among the sessions, a discussion featuring Rubén Rengel of Absen, Shawn Watts of Bose Professional and John Zettel of AVI-SPL, alongside Dave Labuskes, CTS, of AVIXA, stood out.
The participants examined the challenges of operating across the region's different markets, the need to adapt global strategies to local conditions and the opportunities to develop sustainable business models.
The programme also addressed the evolution of systems integration companies, technology investment decisions and the industry's growth prospects. The sessions featured simultaneous translation through Snapsight.

Specialised tours of the exhibition floor
The exhibition area hosted several Show Floor Tours, guided visits designed to help attendees explore the technologies on display and encourage direct interaction between visitors and manufacturers.
Sergio Enrique Gaitán, CTS, DTCP, led a tour aimed at professionals attending the trade show for the first time. Ana María Restrepo focused her tour on technological solutions designed to address operational challenges, while Nelson Baumgratz, CTS-D, CTS-I, offered international visitors an overview of the characteristics and opportunities of the Latin American audiovisual market.
These activities enabled participants to discover new solutions, identify suppliers and explore potential applications for the technologies on display. The programme also included integrated experiences dedicated to immersive audio and digital art.

Technological innovations on the exhibition floor
The exhibition brought together solutions from manufacturers specialising in professional audio, lighting, display technologies, collaboration, automation and integrated audiovisual systems.
Among the featured technologies were Absen's solutions for immersive LED stages, Bose Professional's ShowTime STS118E subwoofer and Audio-Technica's D50 digital UHF wireless system.
In the field of collaboration and communications, Crestron presented solutions for smart meeting rooms, while Sennheiser highlighted its TeamConnect Ceiling M Plus ceiling microphone.
Digital signage technologies, including the Giada DK320 player, were also featured, alongside amplification and connectivity solutions from LEA Professional.
The audio segment included solutions from Klipsch, Monitor Audio, Arcam and Fonestar, with systems designed for commercial installations as well as residential and high-fidelity applications.
Meanwhile, Lutron and Control4 showcased smart lighting solutions, while Audinate highlighted 20 years of Dante, one of the leading technologies for audio over IP networks.
The exhibition thus reflected the wide range of applications for professional audiovisual technology, from large-scale live events and immersive installations to corporate, commercial and residential environments.
AVIXA TV expands the conversation with its Podcast Studio
The programme also included the Podcast Studio by AVIXA TV, a space dedicated to interviews and discussions with manufacturers, specialists, exhibitors and industry representatives.
The first episode featured Rodrigo Casassus of AVIXA and John Bailey of AVI-SPL, launching a series of conversations focused on innovation, market trends and the experiences of industry professionals.
The initiative was supported by Tecno Planet, Sony and Shure, and was designed to extend the reach of the event's content beyond the in-person sessions.
The studio conversations are scheduled to be published through AVIXA TV, allowing audiences to access the interviews and insights shared by participants after the event.
A meeting point for the Latin American audiovisual industry
With its second edition, InfoComm Latin America continued to strengthen its position as a meeting point for manufacturers, systems integrators and audiovisual industry professionals.
The combination of technology exhibitions, training, immersive demonstrations and professional networking provided an opportunity to explore both new products and solutions and the industry's commercial and technical challenges.
InfoComm Latin America 2026 highlighted the importance of collaboration, innovation and knowledge sharing in driving the development of the professional audiovisual market across the region.
