The Aulum Series features two versatile acoustic enclosures that offer exceptional sound quality in both floor and wall mounting situations. The Spanish manufacturer Equipson introduced, during the past ISE 2024, Aulum, a new series of speakers designed for applications in outdoor areas like gardens and terraces.
As part of the WORK PRO brand by Equipson, the Aulum Series includes two acoustic enclosures: AL 1003 F and AL 503 M. Both are cylindrical in shape and offer a 360° horizontal and 120° vertical sound dispersion, with a frequency response from 90Hz to 18KHz.
The AL 1003 F is designed for floor installation. Made of aluminum and with an IP65 protection rating, it can easily withstand rain and garden hose splashes. Designed to offer omnidirectional coverage, the versatile AL 1003 F features a 2.5” woofer and can work in low impedance installations with a power handling capacity of 10W @ 8Ohm and high impedance configurations offering 10W at 70/100V.
For landscaped areas where a wall-mounted enclosure is more suitable, the Aulum Series offers the AL 503 M, which also has an IP65 protection rating. This stylish acoustic enclosure features a 2.5” woofer and can also operate in low and high impedance modes with the same 10W power handling capacities as the AL 1003 F.
Both acoustic enclosures are equipped with 6W warm LED lights with a color temperature of 3000K, powered by 12V DC. This ensures that the acoustic enclosures not only deliver great audio but can also help illuminate and add ambiance to specific areas of an installation.
