In response to the growing demand in Mexico for its acclaimed line of lighting control solutions, ChamSys announced on March 3 that it will begin direct distribution of its products in this market with the establishment of ChamSys Mexico operated by Chauvet Mexico.
As part of the new plan, the ChamSys and GeNetix product line will be stored, distributed, and serviced from Chauvet Mexico’s 1,200-square-meter facility, strategically located in Lerma. This includes the ChamSys MagicQ stadium range of consoles, which have been used to power designs at major events such as the Los 40 music awards and tours by stars like Alejandro Fernández (“El Potrillo”), Manuel Carrasco, and KORN.
An example of the level of loyalty that ChamSys has earned in Mexico can be seen in the comments of lighting designer Julio Centeno (designer for Natanael Cano and Dani Flow), based in Mexico City, when he said: “ChamSys is one of the most user-friendly platforms for lighting designers who take our console on tour; it allows us to adapt the show to any venue”.
In addition to the ChamSys lineup, the latest generation of GeNetix data distribution and network products will be available, including installation-focused nodes, switches, and IP65-rated DMX distribution devices.
The new office in Mexico will not only provide customers with faster and easier access to ChamSys and GeNetix products, but it will also enhance their service experience and pave the way for new training opportunities.
Regarding the establishment of the new distribution, Alberto García will head the development of the ChamSys brand in Mexico. García, a longtime ChamSys user, is widely known and respected throughout the Mexican lighting industry and is eager to take the brand to the next level in this market.
Echoing the enthusiasm of the entire Chauvet team, Carlos Zamora, General Manager of Chauvet Mexico, had this to say about the new distribution agreement:
We are delighted to welcome our sister brand, ChamSys, to the family. Our customers and users will see many benefits now that Chauvet Mexico is exclusively responsible for the sales, technical service, and training of the complete ChamSys and GeNetix solutions in the Mexican market.
