Allied Productions and Sales installs rider-friendly K2 system at St. Paul’s architecturally complex landmark performance venue. The Palace Theatre is one of Saint Paul, Minnesota’s downtown gems. First opened in 1916 as a classic vaudeville and movie venue, it was rescued by the city exactly a century later, after three decades in the dark, and renovated as a live music destination. Within a few months of the new Palace’s first show in March of 2017, the 2,500-capacity venue once again received the royal treatment—this time in the form of a new L-Acoustics K2 PA system installed by local integrator and rental vendor Allied Productions and Sales.
Stockholm’s historic Maria Magdalena kyrka is one of the oldest and largest churches in the city, with a unique layout featuring a particularly long nave. A complete renovation project of the church was started in 2013, with refurbishments both inside and out. As part of the renovation, the church also decided to upgrade its sound system.
