Returning again to The NAMM Show in California, from 24-27 January 2019, Void Acoustics will be showcasing their infamous Incubus system at daily demos in the Loudspeaker Showcase Arena. Providing levels of control thought impossible and perfect sound quality, Incubus is the number one choice for prestigious dance clubs.
Hearing the highest quality of unadulterated sound through an Incubus makes it possible to feel as though you are inside music, in a total immersive aural experience. Together with the Incubus demos, Void Acoustics will also be exhibiting a selection of products from the Air range, the latest addition to the Cyclone series - Cyclone 8, ArcM 12, and the highly popular Bias Q5, Q2 and D1 amplifiers.
As a staple favourite, the Air Motion is a timeless work of art, instantly recognisable as a Void-signature product, known for both its iconic appearance and exceptionally balanced sound. Within the same product family, the Airten V2’s small size is deceivingly powerful, offering extensive bass extension and exceptional fidelity across its wide dispersion pattern. Using super strong composites that include fibreglass, this design totally eliminates energy-robbing enclosure resonance. Unique ‘intake protection’ accurately controls and limits excursion, without any additional outboard processing or powering. This system is capable of output levels normally associated with enclosures over twice its size, making it particularly favoured for near-field DJ monitoring.
Cyclone 8 brings an ideal mid-point solution between the existing Cyclone 55 and Cyclone 10 models. Offering an installation-friendly package and multiple colour options, together with a weather-protected, smooth cellulose finish, this versatile speaker can be used both indoors and outdoors. The ArcM 12 has multiple working surfaces, allowing it to be used as a near field booth monitor or conventional stage wedge, as well as having the ability to be pole mounted or wall mounted for front-of-house purposes. In terms of mobility, measures have been taken to reduce weight, while maintaining an ergonomic design to appease manual handling requirements. Acoustically, FEA analysis significantly reduces port noise and air distortion.
