The Void showcase included a selection of products from the Air, Venu and Cyclone ranges, together with the highly popular Bias Q5, Q2 and D1 amplifiers.
As a staple favourite, the Air Motion is a timeless work of art, instantly recognisable as a Void-signature product, known for both its iconic appearance and exceptionally balanced sound. Meanwhile the adaptable Air Vantage can be used as a standalone mid-top or a monitor, when paired with the Sub Vantage. The internal crossover is specially designed to achieve the best possible phase response, ideal for prolonged listening periods at very high SPLs.
New Venu products showcased included: Venu 6 V2, Venu 8 V2, Venu 10 V2 and Venu Bass V2. As the V2 models, each product is undergoing development to be significantly enhanced with a complete aesthetic overhaul. Planned developments include: a new panel which incorporates both a speakONTM and Phoenix socket; a built-in top hat and a discreet handle for ease of mobile use; and a blanking plate for installation purposes.
Of the versatile Cyclone range, the Cyclone 55, Cyclone 10, Cyclone Bass, and the latest newcomer Cyclone 8, all featured at ISE. Offering an installation-friendly package and multiple colour options, together with a weather-protected, smooth cellulose finish, the entire Cyclone series can be used both indoors and outdoors. Capable of operating as both a standalone application for beach bars, lounges, restaurants, cruise ships and hotels, or providing area fill when used with a larger main club system, high-quality sound is a given. State-of-the-art porting maximises its bandwidth and performance.
All three of the revolutionary enhanced Bias amplifier designs offer unparalleled reliability and a natural, tactile interface. Eco-friendly to run, this results in impressively low operational costs, power consumption and carbon footprint.
In addition to visually displaying these products at its Booth, it was possible to hear them in action during regular live demos in Demo Room E108 at the RAI Amsterdam. Demos were led by Head of Sales, Mike Newman – an avid Void brand ambassador. An awards ceremony was also held during the show specifically for Void distributors and dealers, celebrating significant achievements and noteworthy business growth in 2018.
Void’s Managing Director, Alex Skan, was looking forward to participating at this year’s show. “As our first time exhibiting at ISE, this is an exciting time for Void. We’ve attended ISE in the past and know it to be an outstanding show. Our team have been working hard to develop our product range and keep evolving designs to ensure we make best use of the latest technology available.”
For those unfamiliar with the brand, Creative Director, Rog Mogale, explains that what sets Void apart is “that we understand music at every level – composing, producing and playing. When we create sound systems, we draw on this experience so it becomes more than just being about good sound. That symbiotic connection between the audience and the music – that’s what we’re here for. Our visually-striking speakers are musically-inspired and we keep how listeners respond to music at the forefront of every design decision we make.”
