The summer of 2026 marks a significant expansion for Cipiesse, a company based in Rezzato, near the northern Italian city of Brescia, that has been a leading name in the entertainment, convention and events industry for almost fifty years.
Having secured a series of major contracts for the current live season, the company has invested in the Outline Superfly sound system, which joins its inventory alongside the large-format GTO C-12 line array acquired last year.
In addition to long-standing commitments such as the Brescia Summer Music, Bergamo Summer Music and Vallecamonica Summer Music festivals, Cipiesse has secured the audio contracts for several major festivals. In the Lombardy region, the company will provide the sound system for Lazzaretto Estate in Bergamo, a multidisciplinary summer programme featuring leading artists. In the neighbouring Veneto region, it will take on Bassano Music Park in Bassano del Grappa, where Sting will headline the programme on July 31 alongside other internationally renowned performers.
These new projects reinforce the company's growing presence in Italy's live events industry and support its continued investment in benchmark sound reinforcement systems.
Cipiesse's relationship with Outline dates back to the 1990s, when it first adopted the Brescia manufacturer's point-source systems. In the early 2000s, it added the renowned Butterfly line array, which remains in service today, followed by the Mantas series and, last year, the GTO C-12. With the arrival of Superfly, the company takes another step in a three-decade strategy of building its inventory around Outline technology under the leadership of founder Santo Bertocchi and partner and Operations Manager Marco Riva.
With the addition of Superfly to Cipiesse, the Outline network in Italy continues to grow, something that is becoming increasingly important for rental companies. When a production exceeds a service provider's own inventory, being able to rely on other companies using the same systems makes a significant difference. It allows them to expand their equipment inventory with identical products at short notice and maintain a fully consistent setup, even for large-scale productions. It is a real operational advantage, particularly in terms of speed, and one of the reasons why more and more Italian rental companies are choosing Outline, says Federico Bianchi, General Manager of Audio Link, Outline's distributor in Italy.
