A truly unique opportunity: seeing and hearing some of Italy’s most important DJs close up. However, this time they won’t be spinning sounds, but using their voices to talk about the fascinating world of musical entertainment. Italian Exhibition Group at Rimini Expo Centre from 5th to 7th May
This is what will happen during Music Inside Rimini, the great event dedicated to Lighting, Sound, Visuals, Integrated Systems & Broadcast. On Sunday 5th May, the DJ ZONE, located in the expo’s Hall C6, will be animated by a series of meetings such as the one scheduled at 2 pm entitled “Club Culture’s new venues, from clubs to festivals”. The conference, promoted by MIR and SILB (Italian Dancehall Owners Syndicate) and organized by DOC Servizi, will attempt to explain the numerous facets of this trend, always ready to change and amaze. The guests will include the people responsible for some of the today’s most dynamic events, such as the Nameless Music Festival, Ortigia Sound System Music Festival and Terraforma Festival.
But this dedicated area of the expo will heat up above all thanks to the eagerly awaited panel event at 3:30 pm entitled “DJs and performers: the relationship with music, technology and instruments”, moderated by Damir Ivic, journalist and great all-round music expert.
Alternating on the “podium” for discussions on this topic and giving in-depth descriptions of their personal experiences will be several of the most famous Italian and international artistes on the music scene, including DJs Claudio Coccoluto, Fabio B and Alex Neri and DJ/performers Fabio Florido and the Parisi Brothers.
The meeting will enable to personally see and listen to the key players of Italian DJing, and discover what goes on behind the scenes of a branch of music that is extremely popular, but about which little is known of its more intimate personal aspects. On one hand, “veteran” personalities will alternate, such as Claudio Coccoluto, undisputedly one of the key players in the sector for over thirty years and one of the best-known disc jockeys outside Italy too.
But there will also be the possibility of discovering emerging talents, such as young Fabio Florido, who in a short time has made a name for himself with performances that have been acclaimed around the world. The panel event will enable attendees to enter the world of DJs and live performers though the “stage door”, discovering the in-depth details of very popular professions many youngsters dream of.
