Joshua Schultz admits it; at first, he wasn’t overly enthused about lighting a show against a large, deeply rippled curtain background for his client, Turnpike Troubadours when they performed at the historic Beacon Theatre. That quickly changed, however, when he saw how this billowy background played off against light.

Lighting designer Johnny Thinggaard was asked to create a production design for popular Danish pop/soul artist Lukas Graham’s The Pink tour, for which Johnny presented a modern and stylish concept, with three striking perspective related scenic walls covered in fabric and with integral LED pixels along the tops, enhancing the depth and dimensions of the performance space.
