GLP promises new product were showcased for ISE 2024

Following the overwhelming success of its new product showcase at LDI in Las Vegas a few months earlier, GLP brought the best from this next-generation portfolio to the Fira Barcelona Gran Via for the benefit of global visitors to ISE 2024.

Occupying booth 1D550 (in Hall 1) at the four-day expo, the company noted the significant crossover in the visitor profile, as the installation community – the show’s traditional heartland – now joined forces with the increasing numbers from the concert touring world. The manufacturer’s new portfolio reflected the needs of both worlds, and therefore offered several European premieres to suit different applications.

Pride of place went to the new JDC2 IP hybrid strobe, which built on the legacy of the JDC1 and JDC Line – but went much further. The new IP65-certified JDC2 was bigger than its predecessor, significantly brighter, and offered several new features.

Also with the outdoors in mind was the impression X5 IP Maxx. After the successful launch of the impression X5 Wash, the impression X5 IP Maxx was an even more powerful sister device for applications from greater distances, and – thanks to the IP65 rating – also for use outdoors. Boasting an extensive effects package, the impression X5 IP Maxx emitted an extraordinary luminous flux of up to 24,000 lumens with an expanded colour space, from 37 powerful 40W RGBL LEDs. Like all devices in the X5 Series, the X5 IP Maxx was equipped with the new iQ.Gamut colour algorithm, which meant it always offered a clean white point with a CRI of 90+ / TLCI of 90 at 6,500 Kelvin.

Finally, the FUSION X-PAR 8Z and FUSION X-PAR 18Z completed the family of weatherproof LED PARs, with motorised zoom (up and down). The FUSION X-PAR 8Z was the most compact and lightest representative in the FUSION X-PAR Series. It was a real all-rounder and was suitable for a wide range of applications. At just 4.5 kg it was also extremely lightweight, and found a place in applications with limited space. In contrast to the FUSION X-PAR 12Z (120W), the FUSION X-PAR 18Z had a 180W RGBL LED, for even greater power output.
