Production Resource Group (PRG) is now the exclusive distributor of SGM Lighting's entertainment portfolio in Japan, effective October 28, 2026. Lighting designers, production companies and venues in the country will have a single source for SGM fixtures, backed by PRG's technical expertise.
What reaches the Japanese market
SGM Lighting's portfolio includes the PALCO family, recently extended with PALCO Z-FX, and the newly launched GENIO Series, with more products due in early 2027. SGM focuses on functionality, simplicity and distinctive design, combining advanced technology with long-term reliability and user-centred development.
PRG will work closely with SGM to grow the brand's presence in Japan. With 34 offices across six continents, PRG provides lighting, audio, video, camera, rigging, scenic and automation, virtual production and digital services for events of every scale.
For PRG, the agreement extends its strategy of investing in high-quality technology and giving customers access to a broad portfolio of professional production solutions.
