AVIXA at ISE 2024, agenda with a Latin American touch

During ISE 2024, AVIXA (the Audiovisual and Integrated Experience Association) present an engaging agenda of activities, training sessions, and spaces to facilitate networking and the exchange of ideas. A significant part of this schedule is focused on Ibero-American professionals in the audiovisual industry who participated in the fair.

In addition to the participation of Spanish industry members, a large number of Latin American visitors were expected. Therefore, AVIXA Iberia and AVIXA Latin America teams were present at ISE 2024 to act as hosts for the Spanish and Portuguese-speaking audience attending the fair.

For all of them, the AVIXA Members Lounge, located at booth 4G150, within hall 4, was the ideal space to meet with colleagues, make new contacts, take a break to recharge, or discuss the benefits of AVIXA membership and its role in driving development within the audiovisual world.

Tech Talks in Spanish

A great alternative for updating knowledge is the Tech Talks, with open access and programming in Spanish and English. These sessions were presented on the main stage of ISE, in hall 4, focusing on technological innovations and business advancements.

The Spanish Tech Talks began with the presentation Impact of Generative AI in the Workplace, where Antonio Cruz Cruz Conde, Modern Work GTM at Microsoft Spain, helped uncover the impact of generative AI in the work environment with Copilot for Microsoft 365 and how this technology transforms the experience in Microsoft 365, enhancing efficiency and creativity at work.

On the second day of the Spanish Tech Talks, the innovative venue, The Sphere in Las Vegas, was the topic of the talk The Sphere: Insights into its Audio Technology, presented by Pedro Basilio, Senior Application Engineer at Holoplot.

In this same space, AVIXA TV shows were produced, broadcasted live through its online platform. AVIXA TV programming included conversations with Argentine artist Sofía Crespo, explaining her videomapping project at the historic Casa Batlló; and with Jeroen van der Most, discussing AI and his artwork exhibited at the main entrance of the fairground.

European & Latin America AV Summit

ISE 2024 also provided the opportunity to create bridges between Europe and Latin America to promote collaboration and trade between both regions.

With the idea of leveraging audiovisual technology as a bridge, the European & Latin America AV Summit brought together government representatives and business leaders from both regions to foster understanding and strengthen connections among individuals, organizations, companies, and countries.

AVIXA ISE 1 HIThe conference program explored transnational initiatives such as the EU-LAC Global Gateway investment agenda.
