Emilia Mernes made her mark in Madrid by becoming the first international female artist to perform three consecutive concerts at the Movistar Arena as part of the same tour.
The shows, held on May 31, June 1, and June 7, brought together tens of thousands of spectators who enjoyed a large-scale production designed to deliver a sound and visual spectacle that lived up to the expectations of her Emilia Tour 2025.
Each of these performances stood out not only for the artistic level of the Argentine singer but also for the technical deployment that ensured the quality of the event in every aspect, from sound to lighting and video—elements that helped create a complete experience for the audience.
A Meyer Sound system for precise and uniform coverage
To achieve uniform coverage and balanced sound response throughout the Movistar Arena, Fluge Audiovisuales relied on Meyer Sound, operated from the control position using a DiGiCo Quantum 338 console.
The company was responsible for supplying and installing all the sound, lighting, and video systems required for this ambitious production, led by P&L Live Music.
The main P.A. system was made up of 32 Meyer Sound LEO loudspeakers, providing the power needed to cover the venue’s largest areas. This array was complemented by 4 Meyer Sound LYON W units, which reinforced coverage on the sides of the space, and a total of 24 Meyer Sound 1100-LFC subwoofers to ensure impactful low-frequency response. System management and optimization were handled by 5 Meyer Sound Galaxy 816 processors, essential for fine-tuning the signal and acoustically adapting it to the venue.
Frontfill reinforcement was achieved with 12 Meyer Sound LEOPARD loudspeakers, designed to deliver clear, direct sound to the front rows, while the outfill included 16 Meyer Sound LYON-M and 8 LYON-W loudspeakers, ensuring coverage of the side seating areas. For the sidefill on stage, 8 Meyer Sound MICA loudspeakers were used to provide dedicated monitoring for the performers and stage area.
At FOH, the overall mix was managed with a DiGiCo Quantum 338 console, a system offering great processing capacity and flexibility to adapt to the different moments of the show—from the simplest passages to the sequences with the highest energy and sonic complexity.
A carefully designed production for a successful tour
The Emilia Tour 2025, which follows her acclaimed album .mp3, arrived in Madrid with a stage production inspired by 2000s aesthetics, featuring prominent visual elements, dynamic choreography, and constant costume changes that brought rhythm and variety to each performance.
One of the highlights of the second night was the appearance of guest artists Duki and Ana Mena, who joined Emilia on stage to perform two of their most popular collaborations. In addition, the singer surprised the audience by presenting "Pasarela," an unreleased track poised to become one of her new hits.
A technical challenge successfully met
The complexity of a production of this scale required a reliable technical solution capable of ensuring uniform sound coverage and high-quality reproduction in all areas of the Movistar Arena.
Thanks to the experience of Fluge Audiovisuales and the performance of Meyer Sound and DiGiCo systems, an impeccable result was achieved, tailored to the specific needs of each of the three shows.
This setup not only met the acoustic demands of a venue like the Movistar Arena but also responded to the artistic requirements of a show that combined intimate moments with others of great visual and sonic impact. The balance between power, definition, and control was key to maintaining sound quality throughout the entire series of performances.
