ETC has introduced Arkon, an automated LED beam fixture that combines high light output with a comprehensive effects system and pixel-controlled RGB accent strips, designed for concerts, festivals and outdoor events.
Arkon features an RBL LED engine that delivers an exceptionally even light field, producing brighter beams, sharper aerial effects and more vibrant colours in haze-filled environments. It also features a 12-colour wheel that enables split-colour effects.
Gobos, prisms and diffusion
The effects system includes eight rotating gobos, eleven fixed gobos, two fast-acting diffusion filters and a quad-prism system capable of producing up to eight combined prism effects.

Arkon's bright, even field of light provides the foundation for all its effects to cut through the haze. With such an extensive range of tools, users will discover countless creative possibilities for using Arkon on stage, explains Matt Stoner, Automated Lighting Product Manager at ETC.
Arkon vibes: turning the fixture body into a scenic element
One of the key features of the launch is Arkon Vibes, a system comprising four integrated RGB LED accent strips with individual pixel control, providing a total of 132 RGB pixels and extensive macro control capabilities.
This system transforms the fixture body itself into a dynamic scenic element, capable of creating everything from subtle lighting textures to bold, eye-catching visual effects, even when the main beam is not in use.

Beam effects without laser technology
Thanks to Arkon's LED engine, customers won't have to worry about differences in regional laser regulations or the need to programme keep-out zones. All of this makes Arkon a much more practical solution for creating concentrated beam effects while keeping audience safety in mind, says Tania Lesage, ETC Market Manager.
Designed and tested to an IP54 protection rating, Arkon is suitable for both indoor and outdoor productions, offering protection against dust ingress and water splashes.

The fixture is also backed by ETC's technical support team, available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, along with a five-year warranty on the LED array and a three-year warranty on the fixture.
