ETC has announced the latest addition to its growing sales team in the Middle East and India region: Richard Burton, who will take on the role of Field Project Coordinator.
In his new role, Richard will work alongside Regional Sales Manager Mark Larcombe, supporting ETC customers and projects across the Middle East and India, while helping to strengthen the company’s presence and relationships throughout the region.
Richard will be based in Dubai and work from the ETC Studio, travelling throughout the United Arab Emirates and other parts of the region as required. Located in Dubai Media City, the ETC Studio serves as a regional hub for training activities, events, product demonstrations and technical support.
With 20 years of experience in the lighting industry, Richard brings extensive technical expertise and in-depth knowledge of the region to the role. He is also already a familiar figure among ETC customers and users in the Middle East. In recent years, he has worked as ETC’s lead Eos trainer in the region, providing training on the control platform to customers and industry professionals. He also worked for ETC distributor Oasis Enterprises as Head of Entertainment and Themed Environments, giving him valuable experience from a distributor’s perspective.
Richard moved to the Middle East in 2015 and has since held several significant roles both in the region and internationally. Throughout his career, he has worked as Lighting Manager at Dubai Opera and gained experience at P.E.A.R.L. in London and the Royal Opera House Muscat in Oman.
We are delighted to welcome Rich to the team. His experience, expertise and previous work with ETC make him a natural fit and a highly valuable addition for both ETC and our customers, says Mark Larcombe, Regional Sales Manager.
