Two new Adamson tools for more streamlined audio connectivity

Adamson kicks off 2026 with momentum with the launch of two new MILAN-compatible networked audio products: the MS 8.2 Network Switch and the USB Milan Bridge.

Designed to simplify connectivity in networked audio environments without compromising performance, these additions expand the Adamson ecosystem with flexible and reliable tools, suitable for both live sound and fixed installations.

The MS 8.2, a MILAN AVB-ready network switch, delivers an optimised and easy-to-deploy solution compatible with MILAN equipment. It is particularly well suited to applications such as stage monitors, small arrays and distributed systems, allowing the transmission of up to 48 networked loudspeakers while also offering robust, tour-ready connectivity options.

Key features of the MS 8.2 Network Switch:

  • 8 Neutrik EtherCON® Cat5 ports
  • 2 Neutrik opticalCON® Multimode DUO fibre ports
  • Connection for up to 10 devices

Alongside it, the USB Milan Bridge completes the brand’s new MILAN offering in a compact yet powerful format. This is an all-in-one solution that provides direct connectivity to MILAN networks for macOS and Windows 11. Designed to deliver maximum stability and performance, it offers ultra-low latency and high-resolution audio, making it ideal for engineers who require seamless integration between computers and MILAN networks.

Key features of the USB Milan Bridge:

USB Milan

  • Up to 32 inputs across 4 streams
  • 16 inputs and 16 outputs
  • 96 kHz at 32-bit resolution
  • USB-C powered (bus powered)

“We are excited to launch new products that give audio professionals more options for using Milan. Adamson has been a key force in the adoption of Milan for over 10 years, and we are proud to continue that effort. These products will allow sound engineers to access Milan regardless of the scale of the system they are working with,” said Brian Fraser, Head of Product and Technology at Adamson.

With the MS 8.2 Network Switch and the USB Milan Bridge, Adamson reinforces its commitment to scalable, standards-based and future-ready networked audio solutions, making it easier for professionals to build more efficient and connected systems.
