More connectivity and control for Yamaha RIVAGE PM with firmware V7.20

Yamaha Corporation announces firmware V7.20 for its RIVAGE PM digital mixing systems, an update that adds support for the new DM5 series digital mixing consoles, RUio I/O units, DME5 and DME3 signal processors, as well as the recently announced AuviTran AV-HY64-AVB interface card.

By providing access to AVB MILAN networks, enhanced visibility and remote control across an increasingly diverse range of connected devices, the new firmware enables the creation of larger and more versatile RIVAGE PM-based systems for live sound, installed audio and immersive production applications.

AVB MILAN™ connectivity for expanded networking possibilities

One of the key highlights of RIVAGE PM V7.20 is support for the new AuviTran AV-HY64-AVB interface card, launched at InfoComm 2026.

Designed for Yamaha RIVAGE PM systems, the card enables direct integration with AVB MILAN networks, providing an additional high-performance networking option for live sound, fixed installations, public address and immersive audio applications, while maintaining the workflow, sound quality and reliability that users expect from Yamaha's flagship digital mixing platform.

The AV-HY64-AVB card supports up to 64 input channels and 64 output channels at 96 kHz, providing AVB MILAN redundancy support and low-latency audio transport with ultra-stable clock synchronization. It creates a direct digital signal path from the console to amplifiers or immersive audio processors, while reducing conversion stages throughout the signal chain.

Expanded integration across the Yamaha professional audio ecosystem

RIVAGE PM V7.20 also expands support for a range of recently introduced Yamaha products, allowing users to build more flexible and scalable systems while maintaining centralized monitoring and control directly from RIVAGE PM consoles.

The list of supported devices for Dante now includes the new DM5 and DM5 Compact digital mixing consoles, RUio1608SB-D, RUio0804-D and RUio16FLX-D I/O units, as well as the new DME5 and DME3 signal processors. These additions allow RIVAGE PM systems to be integrated into an even wider variety of audio production environments.

Similarly, the DM5 series can be incorporated into larger RIVAGE PM systems, extending Yamaha's common workflow across productions of different scales. Seamless compatibility with the RUio I/O range expands system flexibility and control: the RUio1608SB-D provides convenient on-stage connectivity; the RUio0804-D delivers compact remote I/O expansion; and the RUio16FLX-D offers versatile analog, digital and AES connectivity for amplifier racks and distributed audio systems.

Support for the DME5 and DME3 signal processors further strengthens integration between Yamaha's mixing and audio processing platforms, allowing users to monitor and control an increasingly sophisticated range of system components from a single console.

We are delighted to offer RIVAGE PM users an even more powerful and versatile platform through support for the latest Yamaha devices and AuviTran's AV-HY64-AVB interface card. By adding AVB MILAN as a new networking option and expanding integration with Yamaha's growing ecosystem of consoles, processors and I/O devices, we can offer customers even greater freedom to design systems that best suit their needs. Together with our partners, we look forward to continuing to help audio professionals deliver exceptional experiences to audiences around the world, says Motome Tanaka, Senior General Manager of the Professional Solutions Division at Yamaha Corporation.

Xavier Allanic, General Manager of AuviTran and Digigram, adds: "With the AV-HY64-AVB interface, RIVAGE PM users gain dedicated access to AVB MILAN workflows while continuing to benefit from Yamaha's renowned mixing environment. We are pleased to work alongside Yamaha to provide audio professionals with greater networking possibilities".
