This was our visit to Hortus Audio & TAG at ISE 2021

On June 1-2, 2021, Hortus Audio and TAG showcased their new as well as established innovative products at Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) 2021 in Barcelona, Spain. Amid the unprecedented circumstances facing the audio industry, Hortus Audio and TAG emerged yet again on the cutting edge at this year’s first pro-audio trade fair in Europe.

With their own company-designed shelving, Hortus Audio unveiled its ingenious speaker systems for the 10th time at ISE while TAG marked its 13th appearance at ISE as a hallmark manufacturer of portable sound systems and conference lecterns. Together they put more than 30 product models on display for the wide-ranging ISE 2021 spectators.

Hortus Audio arrived to Barcelona with not one but five new products. A newly developed Studio Monitor Series features the Q5.1, a multifunctional cabinet which builds on the Q5 by including a treble speaker. Meanwhile, the Galya assumed a starring role as a newly designed high quality monitoring passive speaker, which is also available as an active version.

The increasingly well-received Mirage Series also made fresh and dynamic sound waves in Barcelona. The MI-15, MI-18.1, and the Q12 disseminated awe and excitement in terms of sounds and sights. The 2’, 5’ and 8’ satellite speakers derive from Finnish birchwood and, in turn, deliver high-qualified amplified, Bluetooth-connected, sound for every listener.

Hortus Audio also showcased its recently developed mini line array, the LVT3, which includes 4 x 3’ speakers. At the stand, the Hortus Audio Sam Series of coaxial public address (PA) speaker systems consisted of the 5’, 8’ and 12’ versions, which have been in play alongside the 15’ version at multiple concert venues. The 3-way full range AES 80W BZ5 and AES 100W BZ6 were also displayed with four of the Micromax Series column speakers and a few other key products from both the Chrysalis and S Series.

Hortus TAG ISE 2021 1

TAG featured its newly designed Cameleon 2.0 conference lectern, which offers users even more highly directed sound accuracy than before with more options available for giving presentations. TAG put the spotlight again on its duel 250W all-in-one portable Mediax. The Mediax sound system is increasingly being used at educational facilities in France as well as at a growing number of pools where it powers underwater speakers.

As ISE 2021 demonstrated, Hortus Audio is constantly evolving as an industry leader in providing unique and high-performing sound cabinets, amplifiers, processors, speakers and line arrays to professionals around the world. Whereas TAG reinforced its longstanding prowess as an audio-visual industry leader in portable battery powered PA sound systems and wireless conference lecterns.

From concept to design to manufacturing and assembly, Hortus Audio’s and TAG’s made in France product lines are present on five continents and distributed in 16 countries worldwide. Both pro-audio manufacturers are committed to sourcing high calibre electronic components and raw materials locally or regionally within Europe. Their products integrate the latest features and accessories such as modules, receivers, transmitters, microphones, telescopic supports, adjustable wall brackets, wall mounts, trolleys, and flight cases.

From ISE Barcelona 2021 and beyond, Hortus Audio and TAG will actively develop and supply their trusted professional clientele with the best-in-class sound systems for auditoriums, clubs, educational facilities, government buildings, hotels, houses of worship, live shows, lounges, museums, restaurants, shops, stadiums, and theatre.
