Introducing 4 new speakers in the popular Pioneer DJ XPRS2 Series 

AlphaTheta Corporation launches 4 new speakers from the XPRS2 series. The 8-inch full-range units, XPRS82, and the 15-inch ones, XPRS152, join the popular speaker range, along with 2 new enhanced active subwoofers: the 15-inch XPRS1152ST and the 18-inch XPRS1182ST.

Known for their versatility, portability, and elevated sound performance, the XPRS2 series speakers are favorites among mobile DJs and are perfect for live sound environments, places of worship, rentals, and fixed installations.

These 4 new Pioneer DJ speakers from the XPRS2 series offer customers even more options. We are proud of the fantastic quality and performance they deliver. The complete XPRS2 series now consists of 6 speakers. The 8-inch XPRS82s and the 15-inch XPRS152s join the full-range 10-inch XPRS102s and 12-inch XPRS122s, and the 2 active subwoofers, the 15-inch XPRS1152ST and the 18-inch XPRS1182ST, replace the previous ones to complete the range.

XPRS2 Series: Key Features

Powerful Class D Amplification

The XPRS2 series employs high-power Class D amplification for a top-notch, powerful audio experience for both artists and listeners. The full-range XPRS82 and XPRS152 speakers feature 2000 W Class D amplification. The XPRS1152ST and XPRS1182ST subwoofers offer 4000 W Class D amplification. 

Robust and High-Quality Construction

Each speaker in the XPRS2 series features a sleek and protective black plywood enclosure for optimal performance in harsh indoor and outdoor environments. All models come with a sturdy handle (two handles on the subwoofers) for easy portability and handling of the system during setup and teardown, along with rubber feet for shock absorption and separation between surfaces. The XPRS1152ST and XPRS1182ST also feature a threaded pole mount (pole) mounting.

DSP Modes

The XPRS82 and XPRS152 feature 4 DSP modes, including Live, Music, Speech, and Monitor.

16 Customizable User DSP Modes

In addition to the 4 presets, each full-range XPRS2 speaker includes 16 user-customizable DSP modes, which can be saved with custom names, to ensure the EQ setting is maximized for every scenario.

Design of Full-Range XPRS82 Speaker

The XPRS82 features an 8” woofer and a 2” voice coil with a 1” output compression driver and a 1.75” voice coil for excellent audio performance. With a maximum sound pressure level (SPL) of 127 dB and a frequency response of 60 Hz – 20 kHz, the XPRS82 is designed to ensure that all audio, including music and spoken words, is reproduced with the highest accuracy possible.

Design of Full-Range XPRS152 Speaker

The largest of the new full-range speakers, the XPRS152, features a 15” woofer and a 3” voice coil with a 1” output compression driver and a 1.75” voice coil for excellent sound coverage in medium and large venues. With a frequency response of 45 Hz – 20 kHz and a maximum SPL of 133 dB, the XPRS152 is ideal for live DJ sessions, concerts, and applications in challenging audio environments, such as venues with poor acoustics.

XPRS2 Active Subwoofers: XPRS1152ST and XPRS1182ST

DSP Modes

The XPRS1152ST and XPRS1182ST offer 3 different DSP preset modes, including Boost, Extended LF, and Normal, to suit different listening environments.

Precise Audio Performance

The XPRS1152ST employs a 15” ferrite woofer with a 3” long-excursion voice coil, while the larger XPRS1182ST is based on an 18” ferrite woofer with a 3” long-excursion voice coil to produce low frequencies with excellent accuracy.

Frequency Response

With the XPRS1152ST providing a frequency response of 45 Hz – 120 Hz and a maximum SPL of 129 dB, while the XPRS1182ST offers a frequency response of 40 Hz – 120 Hz and a maximum SPL of 130 dB, the subwoofers deliver the performance of a permanent installation unit. with the compact portability required by today's mobile artists, performers, and venues.

Pole Mount Mounting

Each subwoofer is prepared to mount, in a threaded manner, a standard M20 metal Pole Mount for increased stability in the setup.
