CHAUVET Professional’s internationally acclaimed COLORado PXL series of motorized battens has been at the forefront of this revolution, opening the door to new dynamic and multi-layered designs.
Now, the company is taking another major step in leading the transformation of design with the introduction of the COLORado PXL Curve 5. The latest addition to the PXL Curve system features five individually controllable 120W LED heads mounted on a curved structure that creates unique and fluid arrays of moving light on an impressive scale.
Compatible with other fixtures in the PXL series, this new IP65-rated outdoor motorized batten provides designers with a scalable visual language, allowing them to move from architectural structures to dynamic, multi-layered lighting designs that create deeper immersive experiences than ever before.
The COLORado PXL Curve 5 features motorized 200-degree pan and 60-degree tilt movement, along with a wide zoom range from 5.7 to 36.3 degrees. It maintains seamless pixel spacing even when multiple units are used together. In addition, a series of colorimetrically calibrated RGBW LEDs ensures excellent color blending both within the fixture itself and when combined with other COLORado PXL products.
Opening up even more creative possibilities, the COLORado PXL Curve 5 incorporates WW and CW LED heads alongside its three RGBW heads. It features eight control sections for the warm white and cool white strobe cells. The cells support pixel mapping and can be controlled via DMX, sACN, and Art-Net. In addition, the fixture is RDM compatible.
From creating pixel mapping effects for runways to generating waves of color across arena and festival stages, as well as incorporating striking linear effects and immersive visual layers, the COLORado PXL Curve 5 is designed to expand the creative possibilities of any production.
