ADJ takes advantage of its presence at ISE 2024 to introduce its products in Europe. Highlighting the latest addition to the Hydro series of IP65-rated moving heads, the Hydro Hybrid. This device combines the power of a 420-watt discharge lamp with an integral optical system, allowing it to serve as a beam illuminator, spot, or wash.
Visitors also had the opportunity to discover the LED video panel focused on high-resolution integration, WMS2, the automated beam luminaire Vizi Beam CMY, the ElectraPix series of wireless lime-infused LED bars and pars, as well as the next generation of the wireless lighting management system, Aria X2.
ADJ's Hydro series showcased its comprehensive range of IP65-rated automated luminaires, boasting rugged tour-grade construction, premium components, and a carefully selected set of features, offering exceptional return on investment potential. At ISE, the new Hydro Hybrid was officially launched, following a discreet presentation at LDI in Las Vegas in December. This feature-rich luminaire harnesses the potential of a powerful 420W Osram SIRIUS HRI discharge lamp, focused through precision optics, delivering an output of up to 14,416 lumens. Its extensive feature set includes CMY color mixing, an additional 12-position color wheel, two GOBO wheels (one static and one replaceable indexed rotating), two rotating prisms (8-facet circular and 6-facet linear), motorized focus, and motorized zoom (1.6° - 17.7°: Spot Mode; 3.1° - 39.2°: Wash Mode).
Expanding ADJ's professional LED video panel product catalog, the new WMS2 is the company's highest-resolution offering to date. It features an arrangement of RGB SMD1515 color-mixing LEDs and generates a brightness of 800 NITS. Offering a pixel pitch of only 2.6mm, resulting in a pixel density of 147,456/m2, the panel delivers excellent definition even from a short viewing distance. Measuring 1000mm x 500mm (39.3” x 19.9”), each panel is composed of eight individual modules of 96 x 96 pixels. With a front-serviceable design, this vibrant video display solution could be directly mounted on a wall, with a seamless finish, either horizontally or vertically. Therefore, it is ideal for a wide variety of integration applications, including store displays, museums and attractions, boardrooms, meeting and event spaces, digital signage, houses of worship, and entertainment venues.
The evolution in ADJ's popular series of automated luminaires, Vizi, is the new Vizi Beam CMY, a powerful and comprehensive dedicated beam luminaire. Harnessing the full potential of the Osram Sirius HRI discharge lamp of
310W, paired with precision engineering optics, it generated a powerful and sharp 2-degree beam ideal for creating impressive aerial effects. Lighting designers unlocked a spectrum of possibilities with CMY color mixing, paired with a 14-color dichroic wheel that included CTO (3200K), CTB (9000k), and UV filters. Additionally, the fixture offers a versatile GOBO wheel loaded with 17 static patterns (including 4 beam reducers) and a dynamic GOBO shaking effect. It also features onboard wireless DMX flexibility, motorized focus, 16-bit fine focus, and high-speed 3-phase tilt and pan motors that provided swift movement and meticulous control. The extensive feature set of the fixture also includes two rotating prisms (16-facet circular and 6-facet linear) that can overlap, as well as a frost filter for creating wash effects.
The ElectraPix series is a collection of battery-powered, wirelessly controllable LED wash luminaires. Each product in the series featured the same color-calibrated 20-watt Hex LEDs (RGBAL+UV) that delivered incredible color mixing potential and a high CRI. Additionally, an array of 0.2-watt RGB color-mixing LEDs surrounded the main LEDs to generate a background glow effect. The series comprises three fixtures, each with versatile floor/hanging placement brackets, as well as an integrated L-rail system that can be used to easily attach a range of mounting accessories. The ElectraPix Bar 8 is a compact linear fixture of 0.5 meters incorporating eight LEDs. The larger ElectraPix Bar 16 measures 1 meter in length and features 16 LEDs. Finally, the ElectraPix Par 7 is a complementary LED par loaded with seven LEDs.

Finally, ISE 2024 witnessed the European launch of the new wireless lighting control solution, Aria X2, by ADJ. This next-generation multi-band system was designed to enhance the reliability and range of transmission for cable-free DMX signal communication between the console and fixtures. With an advanced proprietary protocol, it creates a wireless mesh allowing all Aria X2 devices within a given system to transmit the DMX signal to each other, establishing a robust network. Also showcased at the booth was the Aria X2 Transceiver, featuring twin wireless antennas and 5-pin DMX input and pass-through connections. An Aria X2 network can be configured from the large display screen located on the front of the transceiver or using a dedicated mobile app. Furthermore, the app can also be used to remotely configure compatible fixtures and provide basic DMX control.

At the ADJ booth, two new additions to the Imperio Pro line array systems from their sister company AVANTE Audio were also on display. The Imperio Pro IMP328 line array module is a powerful and versatile unit, composed of powerful dual 8-inch low-mid frequency drivers and two HF drivers coupled with a precision waveguide. It integrates a 3-way Class-D+ switch-mode power amplifier, featuring a total peak power of 2800 watts to ensure ample headroom and very low distortion. The array delivers a full frequency response from 60 Hz to 20 kHz (-6dB), a wide horizontal coverage pattern of 100 degrees, and an impressive maximum SPL of 132 dB per peak. An integral DSP with built-in FIR filters provides selectable crossover frequency and delay, as well as LF and HF compensation. The DSP can be configured from an onboard display or remotely using a Windows PC (RS485) through an application that also offers remote system monitoring.

Designed to complement this new array module, the IMP218 from Imperio Pro is an active subwoofer featuring dual 18-inch drivers paired with powerful 4-inch voice coils and a high-output port design. It incorporates a Class-D active amplifier capable of delivering 4800 watts of peak power. The unit provides a frequency response of 32 Hz - 130 Hz (-10dB) / 38 Hz-130 Hz (-3dB) ensuring deep, powerful, and tight bass that you can feel. It is equipped with an integral DSP that includes selectable crossover frequency, variable delay, and Cardioid/End-Fire presets. Similar to the array module, all DSP features can be configured directly from the rear panel of the unit or remotely from a networked Windows PC.
