CHAUVET Professional moved forward toward a new destination at Prolight + Sound 2024. Heading to a more rarified and sublime space where the physical and digital worlds converged, giving rise to new and infinitely endless possibilities in design.
Following the company's presence at LDI and ISE, the firm continued this journey at Frankfurt Messe from March 19 to 22, through the CHAUVET Professional and ChamSys booth (E21 in Hall 12.1) to experience firsthand how this bold approach leveraged innovation and merged reality and imagination.
According to CHAUVET Professional, "The power of this union was immediately evident as soon as the visitor approached the booth proposal and saw the towering multi-faceted panorama created by David Howard of David Howard Lighting Design, which drew on an extensive collection of CHAUVET Professional fixtures."
The firm proposed boldness and magnetism in the exhibition conceived for this occasion, where it demonstrated its products CHAUVET Professional STRIKE Array 2C and STRIKE Array 4C, with IP65 rating and RGBAWW. These versatile fixtures opened the door to "bending reality" in numerous ways with the full-color pods (four in the larger unit, two in the smaller), which could be independently focused.
Adding to their impact, both products offered dimming capabilities at low levels setting industry standards, as well as a red shift function that warmed the color temperature of the light as it dimmed to emulate a classic tungsten appearance. The variable PWM and high CRI of both units made them ideal for broadcast applications. Both units also had a proprietary tool-free interlocking system that allowed them to be connected in the vast multiple configurations that were so essential to immersive live and VR productions.
Adding an embracive effect to the transformative booth design, the REM series video panels were displayed, featuring a high refresh rate of 7680 Hz that made them ideal for broadcast and immersive wall applications. The cinema-grade indoor rated REM 1 was an 800 NITS panel with a 1.9 mm pixel pitch, while the all-weather REM 3IP had a 3.9 mm pitch.
Also contributing to the power in this design proposal for its stand, was the Maverick Storm series. Prominently featured among this group was the Maverick Storm 4 Profile, which offered unbeatable long-throw performance, reaching even the most distant and open places. Its ambitious design launched over 60,000 lumens across impressive distances with commanding brightness. This fixture's sophisticated variable CMY+CTO system delivered fantastic color rendering, crisp gobos, two rotating gobo wheels, two prisms, two frost filters, animation wheel, sharp shutter framing, and 8.5:1 zoom.
