Global superstar Bad Bunny completed an ambitious concert residency —the longest and most successful in Puerto Rico’s history— in support of his sixth studio album Debí Tirar Más Fotos.
No Me Quiero Ir De Aquí took place at the José Miguel Agrelot Coliseum, generating more than 250 million dollars for the local economy and bringing together over 600,000 attendees in total (according to The New York Times).
Each of the thirty dates spread over seven weekends —plus a thirty-first concert specially announced on September 20 and livestreamed on Amazon Prime Video and Twitch— used the selected Cohesion PA system for this historic residency.

Known as Benito or The King of Latin Trap by his millions of fans, Bad Bunny delivered dazzling shows with two stages inside the “Choliseo”, which holds 18,500 people. Each night he blended reggaeton, house and trap with Puerto Rican folk genres. The artist, born in Bayamón, wanted the residency to be a love letter to the island and its people, and the energy of the show—together with the complex production and a solid audio system—offered every audience a truly memorable event.
The PA system
The system included a total of 128 Cohesion CO12, flown at more than 24 meters high:
- Six main arrays of 12 units.
- Four side arrays of 12 (two per side).
- Two 270° arrays composed of 4 units.
Three arrays of six Cohesion CP218 subwoofers —one behind each central main array and another centered at the front of the stage— were complemented by twelve CP218 stacked on the floor, all configured in cardioid mode. In addition, two Cohesion CF24 and six Cohesion CP6+ were used as reinforcement.
One of the biggest deployment challenges was ensuring full coverage of the arena with sufficient sound pressure, without compromising visibility. Bad Bunny had built a main stage resembling a large island mountain and a B-stage recreating a traditional jíbaro home from which part of the concert unfolded.
Design and tuning
The priorities during the design phase were ensuring that the clusters did not obstruct the views, while also taking into account a huge LED screen suspended over much of the venue’s ceiling, explained system engineer Ricardo Barragán.
The audio designers were Roly Garbalosa (Production Manager) and Randy Lane (Clair Global Event Support Engineer). The FOH engineer was Jose Angel Rivera, Jr.
Barragán added: “Once the system was deployed and tuned, the question was how it would perform with the artist spending half the show underneath the PA, since the speakers were in the ceiling pointing directly toward him and the audience. In the final implementation, Garbalosa and I made small adjustments to some clusters for crucial on-site optimization. We achieved uniform SPL and tonal balance for the audience”.

Cohesion never ceases to impress me, and thanks to the system’s agility, the sightlines were not affected. In my opinion, no other system could have been installed this way—let alone sound like this—with that SPL, dispersion and coverage in every seat, said Fernando “Wichie” Martínez, founder of Wichie Sound (now Clair Global Puerto Rico).
Barragán concluded: “Everything worked perfectly. Once again, Cohesion was clear, coherent and powerful”.
Featured guests and upcoming projects
The monumental residency featured numerous VIPs and celebrities, including Ricky Martin, LeBron James, Benicio del Toro and DJ Khaled, who said the Cohesion system “might be the best I’ve ever heard in my life” and that “it was so clear… the bass, the experience, incredible”.
The guarantee of excellence we offer is not only due to this unique Cohesion system; it is that everyone ensures the equipment is in optimal condition and that every detail meets the needs of the show. Bad Bunny will return to the road in a few weeks with his Debí Tirar Más Fotos World Tour, starting in the Dominican Republic and continuing through Central America, South America, Australia, Japan and Europe.
During this international tour, which will again feature Cohesion systems in every country where they are available, the artist will also perform at the highly anticipated Super Bowl LX Halftime Show in Santa Clara, California.
