For the first time, PLASA Focus Leeds has launched an official mobile app, now available for Apple and Android devices. Introduced following the success of the PLASA Show London app in 2024, which saw strong uptake among attendees, the new app is designed to maximize engagement and efficiency at the 2025 edition.

 

The event takes place at the Royal Armouries in Leeds on 13–14 May 2025 and will once again welcome thousands of professionals working in live events, AV, lighting, audio, rigging, staging and more.

PLASA Focus Leeds offers a comprehensive programme of free seminars, hands-on demos and training sessions.

The 2025 edition shines a spotlight on key themes such as audio, sustainability, the next generation and artificial intelligence, offering insights and inspiration for professionals in the live entertainment technology sector.

Audio takes center stage with sessions by Robb Allan, Funktion One, d&b audiotechnik and Joyned, alongside a panel reflecting on the evolving role of technical crews.

On the sustainability front, Royal Ballet and Opera, Robe, Funktion One and Pearce Hire present practical strategies for greener working across the supply chain.

The programme also champions future talent, with content tailored for students and young professionals from organisations such as The Power of Events, Production Futures, Soulsound and universities.

AI in live events is addressed in two sessions, one of them led by Dr. Sacha Krstulović, who debunks common myths on the topic.

Visitors can also enjoy live audio demos from KV2, Crest Audio and SOWA, free ChamSys lighting training and relax in the Wellbeing Hub, a quiet space offering mindfulness activities and support from a trained host.
