The latest edition of Vive Latino Spain 2024, held at the Expo venue in Zaragoza on September 6 and 7, not only brought together the best Ibero-American bands but also stood out for its commitment to technological innovation in live show production.
In this edition, SeeSound, in collaboration with MA Lighting, elevated the technical experience of the festival by creating a dedicated room for supporting and adjusting lighting designs for participating technicians.
SeeSound and MA Lighting: live technical support
The collaboration between SeeSound and MA Lighting at Vive Latino Spain 2024 took shape in a Hospitality room designed for the lighting technicians of the participating bands. This room not only offered a resting space but also served as a meeting point and technical support area where professionals could adjust and verify their designs before each show. With state-of-the-art visualizers and MA Lighting control consoles available, the room became a hub of constant activity, providing custom solutions and real-time technical assistance .
The room featured equipment from SeeSound and MA Lighting, led by Sasi, Technical Support for Control and Lighting at MA Lighting in SeeSound, who emphasized the importance of this space: “The idea was to provide a safe and relaxed environment where technicians could work without rush, resolve doubts, and fine-tune every detail of their lighting setups. The visualizers allowed designers to check their shows before going on stage, which reduced live testing time and improved quality”.
Alejo Arce, Sales Manager for Europe and Latin America at MA Lighting, added:
Such initiatives are key to reinforcing technicians' confidence in our systems. Being able to offer a space where they can experiment with consoles and software, and receive direct support from experts, raises the standard of what can be expected at a festival of this magnitude.
Undeniable value for technicians
The feedback from lighting technicians and designers who visited the preview and support room at MA3 was overwhelmingly positive.
Many highlighted the opportunity to test the latest innovations of grandMA3, from consoles to visualizers, as a unique opportunity that enriched their festival experience. The ability to adjust and visualize their designs before each performance allowed them to gain confidence and ensure their work was presented exactly as they designed it.
Jordi Pérez, lighting technician for Hombres G, commented “being able to check the design before the show was a luxury. MA Lighting is not only the best choice for lighting control, but having the opportunity to adjust the details in a calm environment made everything flow much better on stage”.
All attendees agreed that the room not only helped them solve technical problems but also provided them with the opportunity to interact with other professionals, exchange ideas, and learn from SeeSound and MA Lighting experts.
