DAS Audio continues to strengthen its presence in the U.S. market with the addition of new professionals and business agreements in key regions. This expansion is part of a long-term strategy focused on sustained growth and on strengthening ties with the professional audio community in the United States.
Among the recent additions are David Kuhner and Burton Ishmael, two professionals with extensive experience in the sector. Their arrival reinforces the company’s team with a close, technical, and professional approach.
This is the moment to grow. We have just celebrated the 30th anniversary of DAS Audio in the U.S., and we are moving forward with clear purpose. Everything starts with the right people, the right partners, and a long-term vision, said Jaime Villegas, General Manager of DAS Audio of America.
With a career that began on stage and continued in the industry as an executive, Kuhner brings a solid technical background, personal warmth, and a deep passion for sound. “I’ve known DAS for years”, he comments. “What really makes the difference is the human team and the fact that they design and manufacture their own systems. You can feel that in every project”.

His career includes leadership positions at top-tier manufacturers, and his profile combines musical sensitivity and technical knowledge, which has earned him the trust of engineers, integrators, and production teams across the country. At DAS Audio, Kuhner takes on the challenge of contributing to the development of a new stage based on collaboration and technical excellence.
Several months ago, sound engineer and broadcast specialist Burton Ishmael also joined the team, having already used DAS Audio systems before his official incorporation. “Burton has always trusted the brand”, notes Villegas. “His experience, credibility, and connection with the technicians who work with our systems every day are a great asset to the team”.
Ishmael now holds the position of Senior Market Development Manager, Pro Audio, with a focus on promoting the capabilities of the ARA series.
In addition to strengthening the team, DAS Audio of America has signed agreements with new representation agencies to boost its growth in strategic regions of the country. These partnerships will help meet growing demand in sectors such as touring, worship, broadcast, and fixed installations.
The key lies in surrounding ourselves with the right partners. Our team and collaborators share the same vision, based on trust, quality, and commitment to users, added Villegas.
With the addition of Kuhner and Ishmael, an expanding partner network, and a new generation of products already underway, DAS Audio strengthens its presence in the U.S. and continues to grow within the professional audio community.
