DAS Audio has launched the MIA series alongside an expansion of its INTEGRAL-MA amplified matrix range, a solution designed to provide system integrators and designers with a unified platform that combines loudspeakers, amplification, processing, networked audio distribution and control tools within a single ecosystem.
The new MIA series debuts with seven passive coaxial point-source systems and two low-profile subwoofers, creating a family tailored for fixed-installation projects of varying sizes. The range includes 5, 6, 8, 10 and 12-inch models, designed to cover everything from distributed applications in commercial and corporate spaces to environments requiring higher sound pressure levels and more precise coverage control.
One of the most notable features of the new family is the use of coaxial designs and rotatable waveguides in the larger models, allowing dispersion to be adapted to the specific characteristics of each space.

The compact MIA-X5 and MIA-X6 models also feature a nominal impedance of 16 ohms, enabling multiple units to be connected per channel and optimising amplification resources in installations with numerous playback points.
The series is complemented by the MIA-S110 and MIA-S115 subwoofers, developed to extend low-frequency performance while maintaining a discreet and easily integrated form factor. Their low-profile enclosures support both horizontal and vertical installations, while the MIA-S110 also offers dedicated wall-mounting options.
Alongside the new loudspeaker range, DAS Audio is expanding its INTEGRAL-MA amplified matrix family with six models available in two- and four-channel configurations. These units integrate Class D amplification, digital signal processing, audio matrix functionality and Dante/AES67 connectivity, enabling signal routing, zone distribution, priority management and output processing to be handled from a single device.

The integration between both families is one of the key pillars of the solution. INTEGRAL-MA matrices include dedicated presets for each MIA model, incorporating FIR filters and optimised limiters that ensure phase coherence and consistent performance when different systems are combined within the same installation.
System control and monitoring are centralised through the ALMA platform, while selected INTEGRAL-MA models also feature ALMAweb, a browser-based management interface that simplifies remote configuration and the administration of complex installations. Compatibility with 70V and 100V lines, as well as OSC and GPIO integration, further expands integration possibilities with third-party platforms.
According to Germán Ramos, Engineering Director at DAS Audio, the objective behind the development was to create a complete architecture in which loudspeaker systems, amplification, networked audio distribution, processing and control work together to deliver a consistent experience from the design phase through to day-to-day operation.
