Mad Cool Festival 2022 featured five festival days, seven stages and more than 150 artists from a wide variety of musical styles.
Metallica, Twenty One Pilots and Placebo were the headliners for Wednesday, July 6, followed by The Killers, Imagine Dragons and Stormzy for July 7; Muse, Incubus and alt-J were the headliners on Friday the 8th of; and Kings of Leon, Florence + The Machine and Pixies on July 9. On Sunday the 10th, Jack White, Nathy Peluso and Natos y Waor closed the festival from the top of the poster.
As in previous editions, the festival will take place in the Espacio Mad Cool, Valdebebas – IFEMA, a space with a capacity for 80,000 people and an area of 100,000 square meters.
The venue had its iconic Ferris wheel and palm trees, drink bars, different hydration points throughout the festival and a wide gastronomic offer to satisfy all kinds of tastes and needs: food trucks with international, vegan, lactose-free, gluten-free food and more. Mad Cool also had a safe place, a support space, or advice on any event related to gender-based violence and the LGTBIQ+ collective.
Mad Cool Festival returned in its fifth edition with more strength and desire than ever where we can all shine again.
