Over 200 DAS Audio systems deployed by MixSonic in Clark Global City

The Aurora Music Festival 2025 took place on May 3 and 4 in Clark Global City, in the Pampanga region of the Philippines. In total, the event gathered over 150,000 attendees across the two days, establishing itself as one of the largest musical gatherings in the country.

The lineup included prominent artists, among them the pop group BINI and musician Rico Blanco, leading figures in the Filipino music scene.

The sound system installation was handled by MixSonic, a company specialized in technical production, which chose a complete DAS Audio solution to cover all areas of the venue.

In total, over 200 DAS Audio sound systems were deployed. The main system consisted of 24 LARA-100 units (main L&R) and 16 LARA-SUB (out-fill L&R). Additionally, 20 SARA-100 and 8 SARA-SUB were used as subwoofers.

Sixteen EVENT-210A units were used as front-fill and 72 EVENT-212A spread across six delay towers. Additionally, 36 EVENT-218A units in end-fire configurations were used in those towers. Stage monitoring was handled with 18 ARA-M210A units and 4 EVENT-118A plus 8 EVENT-28A as side-fill.

The system installation was managed by MixSonic, which also coordinated equipment supply alongside six other Philippine rental companies using DAS Audio.

The integration of DAS Audio’s flagship systems allowed us to deliver a top-level sound experience, with clear and powerful coverage throughout the venue. The LARA system provided precise sound pressure at the front, while the LARA and SARA subwoofers created a powerful and defined low end that was key to the headliners’ performances, said Milo Dr. Cavarlez, CEO of the company, from MixSonic.

He also highlighted the performance of the reinforcement system: “The deployment of the delay towers with EVENT equipment maintained excellent sonic coherence even in the farthest areas from the stage”. And he concluded: “We received numerous compliments from the organizers and several artists for the sound quality. Without a doubt, the system exceeded expectations”.

It is the first time we have worked at the Aurora Music Festival, one of the most important in the Philippines, and the performance of the designed system has been spectacular. I would highlight the professionalism and excellent work of MixSonic throughout the design, installation, and operation process. Congratulations! said Germán Rodríguez, systems engineer and DAS Audio technical support manager in APAC.
