Last year, the launch of FOREVER Club in Wuhan was announced, marking the largest nightclub project in China in recent years. Situated in the Xintiandi commercial district of Wuhan, FOREVER employs fashion, art, and music to create a new landmark in entertainment.
In line with the rest of the ultra-high-class decoration and stunning ceiling creations, FOREVER has also invested in a state-of-the-art audio system, the VHD5 from KV2 Audio. This is the second installation of VHD5 in a Chinese nightclub, the first being at TAXX II in Shanghai in 2021.

Funded by the Chinese entertainment giant, Noah's Ark Group, FOREVER Wuhan is a 5,000-square-meter venue consisting of three main areas: the main House Style hall with a capacity for 2,000 people, a smaller HipHop area, and several private KTV rooms. The main hall features impressive truss structures, sophisticated lighting, and 3D effects, as well as the ultrapowerful KV2 VHD5 system that was used, designed, and installed by Guangzhou Idee International Sound System Co., Ltd. (IDEE), part of the Chinese distributor of KV2, AVMedia.
Just like everything else in the FOREVER club, investors wanted an extraordinary sound system, something that would create an unforgettable experience. Noah's Ark was already familiar with KV2, as they had previously replaced systems from other well-known audio brands with KV2 in five of their other nightclubs in China, as the other systems did not meet their expectations. "When I suggested the VHD5 for FOREVER, they didn't hesitate," says Mr. Tony from AVMedia.

Mr. Tony used an L/R system comprising a VHD5.0 mid/hi element and VHD8.10 low/mid on each side with two frontfills VHD2.0. 16 full-range 2-way ESD12 speakers (known as TIME12 in China) act as a fill system for the numerous private cabins and VIP areas, while 50 subwoofers ESD1.18 provide powerful sub-bass reinforcement.
24 of the 50 subwoofers cover the 16 meters in front of the DJ booth, with eight subwoofers integrated into the front of the booth and eight subwoofers flown on each side. The remaining 26 units are integrated into seating cabins distributed at the back of the hall. The power, processing, and control for the VHD systems are supplied by VHD power units, VHD5000, VHD5000S, and VHD2000, respectively. Finally, a pair of powerful monitors ESM312 act as DJ monitors. Audio for the smaller HipHop room (only 150 capacity) is provided by a pair of ESM312, a pair of TIME12, and twelve subwoofers ESD1.18.

What never ceases to impress with KV2, and particularly with the VHD systems, is the ability to cover such large areas with so few boxes, and the clarity and precision anywhere in the room remain unmatched.
FOREVER aims to impact on all levels, visually, aesthetically, and sonically; undoubtedly, it stands up to TAXX II as one of the world's superclubs. "We are very proud to be part of the FOREVER experience," says Mr. Tony enthusiastically.
