A complete LED volume, based on components from INFiLED’s STUDIO Series, brings to life Web3 Productions’ flagship XR/virtual production facility at Dubai Production City: an immersive, floor-to-ceiling creative environment that stands as one of the largest XR/VP studios in the United Arab Emirates.
As part of the Web3TV creative hub, the new stage was designed from the ground up to handle everything from traditional filmmaking and live broadcasts to immersive augmented reality productions, offering clients of all kinds access to real-time extended reality workflows, next-generation in-camera VFX, and high-end broadcast production.
To meet these ambitious requirements, Web3 Productions chose a custom configuration from INFiLED’s STUDIO Series that combines ceiling, backdrop, and floor LED displays into a single flexible system.

For the ceiling, the studio uses LED panels from the ARmk2 Series, chosen for their lightweight design and integrated truss brackets and pedestals, which make it easier for the technical team to create dynamic lighting and content rigs above the shooting area. The main backdrop is built with panels from the DBmk2 Series, providing fine-pitch, cinematic-grade visuals ideal for close-ups and shallow depth-of-field filming.
For the floor, INFiLED supplied DFmk2 panels, featuring an anti-slip, anti-reflective surface, as well as INFiLED’s ArmorLED technology for enhanced durability.
Combined, these elements from the STUDIO Series —designed specifically for XR/VP— create a five-metre-high, floor-to-ceiling LED volume that completely surrounds both talent and camera, enabling immersive environments and complex camera movements without the need for extensive post-production.
All STUDIO Series panels at Web3TV are engineered for optimal on-camera performance. INFiLED’s advanced CBSF (Color & Brightness Shift Free) technology, high refresh rates, and 1/8-scan design deliver bright, flicker-free images with excellent motion handling, while high-precision grayscale performance ensures stable, shift-free colour reproduction over time. ColdLED technology also helps keep operating temperatures under control even during long shooting days.

On the floor, ArmorLED construction, retractable bumpers and durable cabinet surfaces ensure that the DFmk2 modules can withstand heavy loads and constant crew movement. This is reinforced by INFiLED’s improved LED bonding, which adds an extra layer of protection thanks to diodes that adhere up to ten times more strongly than conventional designs.
The LED volume is powered by Brompton processing and integrated into a virtual production workflow based on Disguise, connecting real-time Unreal Engine content, camera tracking, and on-set monitoring. Dubai-based CVD Productions handled the audio side of the build, while the Web3TV VP facility is complemented by soundproof podcast rooms, recording booths, and editing suites within the same creative ecosystem at Dubai Production City.
Since its opening, the Web3 Productions stage has already welcomed high-end clients, including Rolls-Royce, which used INFiLED’s LED technology to create richly detailed environments for a recent campaign for its new Spectre EV.
With the capacity for multi-camera shoots and live production, the space is equally suited to commercials, dramas, music content and broadcast-style shows focused on cryptocurrency, AI, fintech and entertainment.
The project also strengthens INFiLED’s growing presence in the United Arab Emirates, adding to flagship projects such as the country’s first fully integrated VP/XR studio (for Fractal Studio), the region’s longest digital display (for Blue Rhine Industries at Dubai Fountain), and large-scale LED installations for DP World at Jebel Ali Port and the OFFLIMITS Music Festival at Etihad Park.
