The town of Linne, in the Netherlands, celebrated the 100th anniversary of its historic weir with a two-week programme of cultural and festive activities. Root Productions handled the event’s technical production, using professional equipment supplied by Highlite Rent, including its latest Infinity Furion series and Showtec solutions.
The centennial celebration featured exhibitions, educational programmes, social events and evening shows. The main highlight was the open-air theatre production De Vlook van Osen, staged nine times with the picturesque Maas River as its backdrop.

The open-air theatre production was the centrepiece of the celebration and demanded robust, weather-resistant solutions. For more than three weeks, the lighting system withstood outdoor conditions without a single failure, proving the reliability of Highlite equipment.

Loet Graus, theatre operator, and Faas Beursgens, marquee operator, together with systems technician and project lead Tom Pietermans, and project manager Jeroen Schmitz, worked tirelessly to deliver a seamless experience.
