Elation Europe will be holding a PRO Training Day July 3rd dedicated to Obsidian Control Systems’ ONYX lighting control platform. ONYX foundation training will take users from console start-up through software layout to patching and running a basic show.
Powerful, easy to learn and fun to use, ONYX is designed for use with all Obsidian lighting control systems.
The goal of ONYX foundation training is to gain confidence in patching and running a show from scratch while acquiring a basic understanding of features. The training will take place at Elation’s European Headquarter office in Kerkrade, The Netherlands.
Features to be covered include:
• Software layout and philosophy
• Patching
• Creating, changing and deleting groups
• Creating, changing and deleting presets
• Creating cues, cue lists and chases
• Managing cues, cue lists and chases
• Using basic times
• 2D plan
Cost is €150.00 (net, excludes VAT if applicable) which includes a free NX-DMX interface for every participant. Participants should bring their own laptop to run with the Capture Visualiser file (supplied). The training will run from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.
