Based on the successful Broadway musical of 1979, Tocando nuestra canción is a romantic musical comedy directed by Antonio Banderas. Neil Simon's script, Marvin Hamlisch's music, and Carole Bayer Sager's lyrics combine in a romantic, tender, and whimsical comedy that tells the funny relationship between Vernon Gersch, a successful yet romantically challenged composer, and Sonia Walsk, an unknown lyricist caught in a toxic relationship with her ex-boyfriend, whom she can't seem to fully let go. A fresh and quirky musical, full of humor about the world of relationships, which pushes us to laugh at our own insecurities and fears, our successes and failures.
