Emelec VíasCom launches the upgraded versions of its cables Q16-7000/Q16-6018/Q16-7018. With a recent update, its range of network cables is designed for sound and lighting control applications, now more flexible than ever!

The company sought more flexibility in these cables, and to achieve this, they have used a more flexible PVC in the sheath and increased the thickness of the sheath by 1mm. Additionally, they have improved the shielding of the Q16-6018 model by adding a tinned copper braid to the shielding it already had from aluminum tapes for each pair. Now all three models have an S/FTP shielding (global braid + aluminum tape for each pair).
These cables are ideal for working with Dante® (Digital Audio over Ethernet) and Art-Net (DMX over Ethernet) protocols as they can transmit these signals over distances of up to 120 meters, depending on the model.
Suitable for connection with various RJ45 models offered such as XLR body connectors (EQ9310), toolless connectors (CL516), and standard RJ45 connectors (CL512) with caps. All Emelec connectors are of high quality as the pins are plated with 50µ gold. This sets them apart from the usual 1µ and 3µ models offered by other brands.
