Celestion and OAK joined forces to transform audio innovation at InfoComm 2025

At InfoComm, OAK Amplifiers unveiled its flagship professional 10kW superpowered amplifier, the Solid Oak 10K1, conceptually paired with Celestion’s TSQ2460, a 24” transducer designed for high-output, high-precision applications.

The demonstration highlighted what is possible when two advanced components come together to inspire the future of loudspeaker design. At its booth, OAK also showcased the Solid Oak 8K2, a new two-channel module that expands the Solid Oak product family.

Celestion IC 1 HIFounded with the aim of challenging the limits of what is technically possible, OAK designs amplifiers not to follow the market but to shape what comes next. Today, audio systems in stadiums or large venues often have to run at maximum power to reach the required levels, which overloads power grids and generators, is not cost-effective, and in some cases poses a risk of system failure. The Solid Oak family takes a different approach that positions it at the forefront of next-generation amplifier design. Through patented energy storage technology, the 10K1 and 8K2 models operate efficiently at average power levels, delivering an uncommon combination of high output voltage with exceptional thermal efficiency—enabling bold new possibilities for loudspeaker manufacturers and system designers.

The Solid Oak 8K2 delivers a total of 8kW of power (4kW per channel, with bridge option) in a remarkably compact format—extending the high-performance legacy of its single-channel sibling, the 10kW Solid Oak 10K1. Designed to drive both full-range loudspeakers and high-power subwoofers, these modules provide system designers and manufacturers with the tools to push performance and integration beyond current boundaries.

To showcase the potential of the Solid Oak 10K1, the company decided to pair it with the new Celestion TSQ2460 (Ten-Squared), a 24-inch low-frequency loudspeaker featuring a cast aluminum chassis and a neodymium magnet. The 10K1 can efficiently power this powerful 24” Celestion speaker at both 4Ω and 8Ω, delivering an impressive 7.5kW at 8Ω.

OAK Amplifiers continues to refine the Solid Oak 10K1 and 8K2 models as they approach their commercial release. InfoComm 2025 represented an important milestone on that path: an opportunity to share progress, gather insights, and ensure that the final product meets the real needs of forward-thinking professionals.

At OAK, we design products to open up new possibilities in design, aiming to set higher standards of efficiency and sustainability in the industry, states Mats Otterdahl, CTO of OAK Amplifiers.
