The B-EYE K30 FX expands Claypaky’s range with RGBL technology, white strobe and IP66 protection

The B-EYE K30 FX is the flagship model of Claypaky's new B-EYE Multilens Family. This IP66-rated multilens fixture features an RGBL emitter and a Cold White emitter behind each lens, combining beam, wash, kaleidoscopic effects, pixel mapping and powerful white strobe capabilities in a single unit.

Unveiled on 3 November 2026, the K30 FX is designed for touring productions, outdoor festivals, broadcast stages, permanent installations and television productions. It extends a B-EYE range in which the K20 set the benchmark, the K25 raised performance standards and the K30 redefined wash lighting.

The new model addresses a specific need: delivering powerful white light intensity and complex visual choreography without adding more fixtures or worrying about weather conditions.

B-EYE K30 FX is Claypaky's answer to the demands of touring productions and other applications requiring wash, effects and powerful white strobe and blinder capabilities without adding extra fixtures, explains Giovanni Zucchinali, Claypaky Product Portfolio Manager.

Two light sources behind a single lens

The primary RGBL engine, comprising 37 x 55 W LEDs, covers the full colour spectrum, from pastel shades to saturated colours and natural skin tones, with camera-ready white calibration and a colour rendering index (CRI) above 82.

A separate Cold White layer, comprising 36 x 55 W LEDs, adds a second dimension of intensity, enabling white strobe bursts, overlay effects and combinations of white light over coloured backgrounds.

In the TwinRod design, each outer RGBL source is paired with a Cold White LED in the same compact holder, positioned behind the same lens, while the central lens remains exclusively RGBL.

Because the white light originates from the same point as the coloured light, the beams remain clean and visually consistent with the distinctive B-EYE aesthetic.

Two independent lens rings

A new dual rotating lens system combines an outer 18-lens ring with an inner 19-lens module. Both can be controlled independently in terms of speed, direction and timing.

This configuration, together with individual pixel mapping of the RGBL and Cold White layers and endless pan rotation, enables layered optical effects that continuously evolve throughout a show.

The integrated Advanced Layering Engine features FX macros that can be triggered from the lighting console and operate across both light engines, enabling fast cue programming in productions with tight schedules.

Built for outdoor use and touring productions

The IP66 rating allows the fixture's full range of functions and effects to be used outdoors.

The DryCore active defogging and cooling system keeps the front lens clear in cold, humid or condensing conditions and activates cooling when the fixture's operating temperature rises.

Meanwhile, the SunSafe Protection System automatically repositions the head as soon as the control signal is lost, while the Tilt Safety Brake locks the head after power-down.

The Eyelid protective element, comprising a rubber bumper with a steel core, absorbs impacts during handling and rigging. It also serves as a quick-mount frame for additional diffuser filters.

High-torque stepper motors drive a 3.7°–57° zoom, designed to maintain its position even during fast movements and at steep hanging angles.

Shared programming across the family

As part of the B-EYE Multilens Family, the K30 FX shares control behaviour, colour logic and operating protocols with the other models in the range. This allows programmed cues to be adapted to fixtures of different sizes while maintaining consistent workflows across different lighting configurations. The fixtures are fully compatible with CloudIO.
