DiGiCo expands the channel count and processing capacity of its Quantum112 and Quantum225 consoles

DiGiCo has released downloadable software upgrades for its two most compact consoles in the Quantum range, the Quantum112 and Quantum225 Pulse, bringing features typically found on larger mixing desks to compact models.

Quantum112 Pulse: from 80 to 96 input channels

The Quantum112 Pulse upgrade increases the number of input channels from 80 to 96 and the auxiliary and subgroup buses from 24 to 48.

The matrix expands from 12x8 to 12x12, adding four additional outputs. Mustard processing instances increase from 20 to 24, while Nodal Processing instances rise from 24 to 32.

The upgrade has a list price of £995 and includes a new version of the application.

Quantum225: up to 120 input channels

Owners of Pulse-equipped Quantum225 and Quantum225 DS consoles can increase their input channel count from 96 to 120 free of charge through a software upgrade specifically designed for their consoles.

Meanwhile, owners of non-Pulse models can access the same enhancement for a list price of £2,295, bringing their consoles up to the highest specification: 48 buses, a 12x12 matrix, 36 Mustard processing instances and 48 Nodal Processing instances. A new version of the application is also available.

Compact consoles without compromising performance

Our customers have told us that they value the Q112 and Q225 Pulse for their ease of transport and the minimal space they occupy at venues or festivals where every centimetre counts. However, these logistical and size constraints should never mean compromising workflow, power, features or sound quality, explains Austin Freshwater, Managing Director of DiGiCo.

The upgrades are available to download from the Quantum section of DiGiCo's support website.
