Shure introduces the MoveMic microphone: smaller and with the world's best sound

Shure has launched its new line of lapel wireless microphones, the MoveMic microphone system. This offers reliable audio with true transmission quality in an ultralight design, ideal for content creators, videographers, and mobile journalists.

MoveMic is the smallest solution for wireless lapel microphones, direct to the dual-channel phone, and with the best available sound, developed with custom acoustic design and patented wireless software to ensure professional audio quality, even on the move.

The discreet and durable MoveMic series from Shure connects directly to phones in single-channel — MoveMic One — and dual-channel — MoveMic Two — configurations for use with MOTIV and MOTIV Video applications with iOS and Android operating systems. For those seeking universal compatibility, the MoveMic Receiver and MoveMic Two Receiver Kit integrate seamlessly with devices such as cameras, computers, and third-party smartphone apps. The patented MoveMic lapel microphone design and wireless technology (with pending patent) make it a reliable and flexible solution, whether users go directly to the phone or connect to the MoveMic receiver.

Moving interviews have become the primary way that journalists, content creators, and TikTokers gather the thoughts, opinions, and experiences of people worldwide. The increase in this type of content has created an ideal opportunity to present a discreet wireless lapel microphone system with extraordinary sound like the MoveMic. We applied our expertise as professionals in wireless tools for capturing, transmitting, and recording audio by developing this super portable device. Content creators will love being able to simultaneously send two audio channels to their phone while keeping the microphones hidden on camera, said Eduardo Valdés, Associate Vice President of Global Marketing and Product Management at Shure.

Compact and pocket-sized design, easy to hide and always ready

Nobody wants a large, bulky microphone that distracts from their next shot. The MoveMic was designed to be almost invisible, weighing only 8.2 g per microphone and measuring 4G mm x 22 mm, allowing only a small part of the microphone to be visible while providing unprecedented discretion and portability.

With an IPX4 rating, the MoveMic was designed for real-world use and is capable of withstanding drops, splashes, and the strong demands of outdoor recording.

24 hours of recording per charge

Each MoveMic wireless lapel microphone features up to eight hours of battery life. Users can achieve two additional charges of eight hours each within the charging case, providing creators with a full day of recording for every full charge. USB-C connectivity allows the MoveMic to be universally charged with any USB-C compatible charging platform.

Natural and high-quality audio transmission directly to the phone

Shure's patented wireless software and custom acoustic design integrated into the MoveMic make it easy to capture high-fidelity voice recordings and offer transmission quality with minimal background noise, ideal for busy recording situations and on-the-go recording from up to 30m away from the receiving source.

The result of endless hours of development by Shure engineers is the performance, reliability, and sound quality that you can now count on and that are only available in MoveMic products.

Quick setup

After syncing MoveMic One and Two with the user's preferred device, the microphones will automatically reconnect to the last paired device when removed from the charging case and turned back on. By eliminating setup time between shots, creators, journalists, and cameramen can be ready to record in just an instant.

Total control with the MOTIV app

Designed to sync with the free MOTIV audio and video apps, creators enjoying MoveMic One and Two can configure audio settings such as gain, limiter, compression, noise reduction, and equalization. Additionally, users can record and stream live content to Facebook from the MOTIV Video mobile app, and YouTube live streaming integration is coming soon.

The MoveMic system and components are now available on the official Shure website and soon at authorized dealers throughout the region.
