Claypaky and Inner Circle Distribution welcomed visitors to LDI 2025, showcasing the latest innovations in entertainment lighting and connecting with the creators behind extraordinary live experiences.
In celebration of its 50th anniversary, Claypaky showcased its latest innovations and new developments, which were already receiving international recognition and attention. Throughout the show, product demonstrations and lighting shows were held every hour.
New Claypaky products take the stage
Arolla Aqua M-LT – World Premiere
Designed for lighting designers, rental companies and broadcasters seeking uncompromised outdoor performance in a lightweight and agile form factor. Delivering 28,000 lumens from a calibrated 550 W white LED engine (6500 K), it combined arena-level brightness with exceptional optical precision over long distances. Its optics, optimized for long throws, and a 160 mm (6.3”) front lens produced intense, clean beams where others disperse. The linear 3.8°–52° zoom enabled anything from ultra-narrow beams to wide, immersive washes, while the centered hotspot ensured crisp, vibrant gobo projections.
Arolla Aqua S-LT – World Premiere
Claypaky introduced this ultra-compact IP66-rated profile, balancing performance, portability and durability. Weighing just 25.9 kg (57.1 lbs), it delivered 21,000 lumens for TV studios, festivals, permanent installations and outdoor productions. It featured a 350 W cool white LED engine (6500 K) paired with a high-efficiency optical system designed for long-throw brightness and strong impact at medium distances.
Arolla Aqua HP – First time at LDI
The Arolla Aqua HP was the most powerful fixture in the Arolla Aqua series. Equipped with a 1400 W white LED engine delivering over 60,000 lumens, it offered outstanding brightness, precision and exceptional creative flexibility. Its robust design ensured reliable operation both indoors and outdoors, making it ideal for touring and demanding environments.
Arolla Aqua LT – First time at LDI
This innovative LED moving head combined extraordinary brightness, extreme precision and advanced control in a weather-resistant IP66 design. Powered by a 900 W white LED engine, it delivered more than 40,000 lumens. The version with an external digital camera, Arolla Aqua LT FS (code CL3041), was also presented, ready for remote followspot applications.
Ultimo Sharpy – First time at LDI
Ultimo Sharpy set a new benchmark for compact beam fixtures. An evolution of the iconic original Sharpy, this new IP66-rated generation was brighter, faster and more robust. It featured a 250 W OSRAM HID lamp engineered for maximum performance and sustainability.
Ultimo Hybrid
Powered by a 550 W short-arc lamp (4,000 hours), Ultimo Hybrid combined high IP protection and long lamp life in a compact, lightweight fixture packed with innovative features. With high output, a wide zoom range and a versatile effects engine, it stood out for its multi-purpose capability, operating as a spot, profile, wash and beam fixture, reducing the need for additional units and optimizing installation costs both indoors and outdoors.
