One of Britain’s most successful girl groups, the Sugababes, embarked on their first tour in 20 years this autumn with their original line up performing a 17-date tour of UK and Ireland.

When Circus Flic Flac rolled into town at Westfalenhalle, Dortmund for its ninth annual Christmas show, it brought with it a 1200-capacity Circus Tent, an array of exceptionally talented human-only artistes and a stunning Ayrton lighting arrangement by talented lighting designer, Christopher Rostalski, from CR-Lichtdesign in Soest, Germany.

A large array of Ayrton fixtures featured prominently in the lighting design by André Beekmans for Stage 2, Cosmic Meadow, at the 2023 EDC Las Vegas. ACT Entertainment is the exclusive distributor of Ayrton lighting in North America.

In a unique collaboration, the 67th Eurovision Song Contest, that annual extravaganza of music and lighting, was hosted in Liverpool by the UK, on behalf of last year’s winners, Ukraine - the first time two countries have co-hosted the event.

Ayrton is very happy to introduce Kseniia Igoshkina as the latest member of its international sales team. Based in Detmold, Germany, Igoshkina is responsible for emerging markets across the Baltic countries, the CIS states and South America.

Lighting designer and founding partner of Woodroffe Bassett Designs, Adam Bassett, specified a wealth of IP65-rated Ayrton fixtures for the entertainment lighting rig for EXPO 2020 Dubai’s central venue, the Al Wasl dome. The rig included 182 Ayrton Perseo S profiles, 116 Ayrton Domino S profiles and 16 Ayrton Huracán LT long throw profiles.

The charismatic singer Mika’s tour in support of his fifth studio album, My Name is Michael Holbrook, was postponed midway through due to the current coronavirus crisis, but it wowed audiences from autumn through to this spring. Lighting designer for the tour was Vince Foster who, with an impressive experience over thirty years, requires little introduction.

Ayrton chose PLASA Show 2023 for the official launch of its new Argo 6 devices with IP65 rating on September 5, 2023. Argo 6 FX was exhibited at Stand C11 by distributor Ambersphere Solutions, along with a variety of Ayrton LED products.

Ayrton is excited to announce the official launch of its new IP65-rated Rivale Profile, the next in its Classical IP65 3 Series, and the first ultra-equipped luminaire in Ayrton’s brand new ULTIMATE series. All ULTIMATE models are perfectly homothetic, sharing common features and delivering previously unimaginable weight-to-output ratios.

The Adele in Munich show was huge in every respect. Taking place on a fully bespoke, purpose-built stage in front of a 220m x 19m LED screen backdrop (a Guinness Book of World Records holder!) with a central thrust measuring 84m, the Adele Arena in Munich, Germany hosted approximately 80,000 fans each night for just 10 performances in August.

Lighting designer, Tim Deiling, used 35 Ayrton MagicDot SX fixtures to help construct the visual narrative for the Broadway production of SIX The Musical when it transferred from London’s West End in October.

Ayrton’s ultra-compact MiniPanel™FX unit was exhibited for the first time in mainland Europe at Prolight+Sound 2018 last month.First launched at PLASA 2017 in London, MiniPanel-FX is a diminutive version of the MagicPanel™-FX, and the first Ayrton product to undergo a miniaturisation process.
